Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani recorded his first album, called Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was it was followed by Dear Dad", which hit the top spot on the British reggae charts. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to perform Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song became a massive hit in 1997. Marley was a part of the Midem event (an international music showcase) that was the first time it was performed in Miami. At the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley ended up at the center of a bidding contest. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records. In the studio, he completed an album with P.M. Dawn on the hit single Gotta To Movin On up.
